Founder, Director & Responsible Individual
Jilly provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across our residential services. With experience as a Registered Manager, Responsible Individual, and extensive experience in Head of Specialist Support/Complex Care roles, she brings expertise in trauma-responsive care, safeguarding, governance, and supporting individuals with multiple presenting needs. Her approach is grounded in psychologically informed, relational practice, with a strong focus on quality, reflective leadership, and ensuring children experience safe, consistent, and meaningful care.
Registered Manager
Joey is Registering Manager at Amethyst House and brings over 16 years’ experience across health and social care, including developing and leading services for children and individuals with complex and high-risk needs in residential and community settings. Known for her compassionate and values-led leadership style, she has undertaken extensive training in trauma and therapeutic care, ensuring these principles are embedded within the culture at Sapling & Stone. Joey has pioneered innovative services for children with care experience and is passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments where children feel supported to grow, while empowering teams to deliver exceptional care and meaningful outcomes.
Deputy Manager & Practice Development Lead
Stuart is a qualified teacher with extensive experience supporting children and young people across education and residential care. Having previously served as Head of Year 9 and as a Deputy Manager within a children's home, he brings strong expertise in leadership, safeguarding, behaviour support and the development of consistent, child-centred practice. Stuart is particularly recognised for his practice leadership and his ability to build positive, reflective team cultures in which adults feel supported, accountable and motivated to achieve the best possible outcomes for children. As Deputy Manager and Practice Development Lead, he supports Joey with the day-to-day leadership of the home while helping adults continually strengthen their knowledge, confidence and professional practice.
